Supply Scheduling & Operations\nLead product inventory, receipts, deliveries, and customer supply.\nImplement buy/sell contracts and coordinate movements via:\nShips\nPipelines\nRail\nTrucks\nEnsure supply reliability, contract compliance, and cost optimization.\nSupervise daily product movements and proactively resolve discrepancies.\n2. Supply Chain Optimization\nDevelop forward supply plans (Month+2 onward).\nPartner with Trading & Shipping (T&S), Negotiation, and Supply Optimization teams.\nBalance:\nSupply security\nWorking capital\nCommercial value\nInfrastructure capabilities\nIncorporate demand changes, maintenance activities, and market impacts into supply plans.\n3. Shipping & Import Management\nNominate import requirements.\nCoordinate vessel schedules and shipping activities.\nRun operational relationships with shipping agents, terminals, and third-party counterparties.\n4. Risk & Incident Management\nLead responses to supply disruptions and operational constraints.\nHandle product quality and supply risks.\nDevelop mitigation plans for shortages, excess inventory, or logistics challenges.\n5. Contract Management\nOwn operational execution of supply contracts.\nEnsure all nominations, notices, and contractual obligations are fulfilled.\nImprove contractual option value and commercial benefits.\n6. Financial & Commercial Accountability\nLead working capital targets.\nSupervise pricing exposure and financial performance.\nSupport demurrage tracking and performance reporting.\n7. Collaborator Management\nWork closely with:\nTrading & Shipping (T&S)\nSupply Optimization\nNegotiation Teams\nLogistics\nInfrastructure & Terminals\nDownstream Sales\nProduct Quality Teams\nExternal Oil Companies\nPort Authorities & Shipping Agents\n8. Compliance\nEnsure compliance with bp’s Code of Conduct, Delegation of Authority, and other bp policies.\nWhat you will need to be successful\nMinimum education:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Economics/ Commerce\nUnderstanding of refinery product supply chains including trading, shipping and terminal operations\nProduct quality management incl. product specifications and their regional and seasonal variations\nAbility to work with large volumes of sophisticated data\nExperience in operational businesses.
