The role combines network planning, acquisition support, commercial analysis, stakeholder management, and performance tracking to ensure investment decisions strengthen and future-proof the portfolio.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the development and annual refresh of the UK Network Strategy.\nProduce business cases and Decision Support Packs (DSPs) for new acquisition and network investment opportunities.\nOwn forecasting and analysis of fuel volumes, shop sales, and EV charging performance for acquisition projects.\nHandle location planning tools, databases, and GIS analysis to support network decisions.\nBuild strong relationships with Operations, Dealer Sales, bp Pulse, M&S, and other key partners.\nAct as the primary contact for M&S Property, supporting approval processes for new opportunities.\nAssess Dealer-Owned (DO) opportunities and ensure alignment with the wider network strategy.\nMonitor competitor activity, market trends, and new developments to identify growth opportunities.\nLead post-investment reviews and track performance against approved forecasts.\nConduct regular site visits to validate assumptions and strengthen market understanding.\nEssential Requirements\nDegree or equivalent experience in Geography or a related subject area.\nStrong understanding of UK geography, demographics, and road networks.\nExperience in location planning, network strategy, acquisitions, or property analysis.\nAdvanced analytical skills, including GIS/ArcGIS Pro.\nStrong commercial competence and experience developing investment cases.\nAbility to use data and insights to drive business decisions.\nPreferred Experience\nKnowledge of the convenience, fuel, and forecourt sectors in the UK.\nUnderstanding of EV infrastructure and energy transition trends.\nExperience working in large, complex organisations.\nExposure to senior leadership forums and investment committees.\nTrack record of supporting successful network growth strategies.\nWhy join us?\nAt bp, we support our people to grow in a diverse and exciting environment.
