In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for a variety of institutional, commercial, healthcare, educational, municipal, and mission-critical projects.\nWorking closely with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in developing high-quality design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit, supporting projects from concept through construction.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare detailed mechanical system drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD.\nDevelop HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, fire protection, and mechanical room layouts.\nProduce design drawings, plans, sections, schedules, details, and equipment layouts.\nCoordinate building mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and civil disciplines.\nParticipate in BIM coordination and clash detection activities.\nAssist engineers with load calculations, equipment selections, and technical documentation.\nConduct field surveys, site investigations, and verification of existing conditions.\nSupport contract administration activities, including shop drawing reviews and site visits.\nEnsure drawings comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.\nContribute to project delivery while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives.\nQualifications\nRequired\nDiploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.\nA minimum of 7 years of experience in building mechanical engineering consulting.\nStrong proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.\nExperience preparing construction documents for building mechanical systems.\nUnderstanding of HVAC, plumbing, and building services engineering principles.\nFamiliarity with Canadian building codes and industry standards.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nAssets\nExperience working on healthcare, institutional, laboratory, commercial, or government projects.\nKnowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable building design practices.\nExperience with BIM coordination software (Navisworks or similar).\nMembership or eligibility for
