We are looking for someone who understands SAP master data and migration processes, but wants to operate primarily as a Data Lead / Workstream Lead / PM, rather than performing day-to-day data maintenance.\nContract: B2B\nWork model: mainly remote\nTravel: up to approx. once per quarter\nResponsibilities\nLead the Material & FI data workstream.\n\nCoordinate and manage the external data vendor.\n\nOversee data preparation, cleansing, mapping, validation and migration readiness.\n\nEnsure consistency and quality of data across SAP Material and Finance-related objects.\n\nCoordinate dependencies between business, SAP functional teams and migration teams.\n\nMonitor progress, risks, issues and vendor performance.\n\nSupport migration cycles, testing, cutover and rollout readiness.\n\nDrive issue resolution and ensure agreed quality and timeline standards are met.\n\nAct as the main point of contact for Material & FI data topics.\n\nRequirements\nStrong experience with SAP master data and data migration.\n\nGood understanding of Material Master and finance-related SAP data.\n\nExperience in SAP S/4HANA migration, transformation or rollout programmes.\n\nExperience leading a data stream, workstream or vendor-delivered scope.\n\nGood understanding of data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.\n\nAbility to challenge data quality and vendor delivery.\n\nStrong stakeholder and project coordination skills.\n\nVery good English.\n\nNice to have\nHands-on background in SAP Material or FI data.\n\nExperience with SAP MDG, Migration Cockpit or similar tools.\n\nExposure to SAP FI processes and finance data structures.\n\nPrevious experience managing an external implementation or data migration vendor.\n\nThe ideal candidate has enough hands-on data background to understand what “good” looks like, but is now interested in a more leadership, governance and coordination-focused
