The ideal candidate will be strongly motivated, well organized, and show professional initiative as well as have the ability to take ownership of assignments and perform well both independently and as part of the project team.\nResponsibilities of the role will include:\nProviding Engineering, Design work and drafting of plans\nImplementing approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans\nSketching rough layouts to review with Project Engineer/Project Manager\nReviewing product cut sheets and technical information\nCommunicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems\nSubmitting the required documentation per project deadlines and milestones\nAttending in-house coordination meetings when appropriate\nDeveloping a strategy to meet the projects’ schedule\nAssisting in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)\nAssisting the design team on major design issues\nOrganizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculations\nPosition Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering\nProficient in AutoCAD and Revit\nEIT (Engineer in Training)\n3-10 years of experience\nGood understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements\nExcellent organizational and communication skills\nProactive and collaborative team member\nExperience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education or Laboratory projects is preferred\nBR+A is a place to learn, to grow, and to work hard for our clients - all while being a part of something bigger.
