The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements.\nAre you passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and impact?\nWe are looking for a Data Scientist - Industrial Analytics based in Milan.\nIn this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping data-driven strategies and optimizing operations across our organization.\nWhich is the main purpose of this job?\nAs a Data Scientist, you will join the Transformation & Performance Improvement team.\nYou'll combine data integration, statistical analysis and visualization with simulation and optimization to address operational challenges. Projects currently focus mainly on manufacturing and reporting across Technical Operations.\nResponsibilities:\nApply statistical methods to investigate industrial metrics, such as: yields, cycle times, OEE, process variability and anomalies.\nDevelop and maintain data integration and transformation pipelines using Python and SQL, ensuring data quality and reliability.\nDevelop Power BI dashboards, data models and KPIs to monitor performance and support reporting across Technical Operations.\nContribute to discrete-event simulation and scheduling optimization projects, including OR-Tools, to evaluate capacity, bottlenecks and production scenarios.\nWork directly with production sites and Technical Operations to identify improvement opportunities.\nCommunicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.\nTravel:\nWillingness to travel primarily within Italy to provide on-site support to production sites. (up to 25%)\nYour Profile:\nDegree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.\nProven experience in Data Analytics or Data Science, with solid statistical foundations\nStrong proficiency in Python and SQL.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, discrete-event simulation or mathematical optimization (e.g. OR-Tools) is a plus; experience in all these areas is not required.\nProactive mindset and ability to identify improvement opportunities, investigate operational problems and define project objectives, even when requirements are not predefined.\nStrong project ownership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build alignment and drive initiatives through implementation and adoption.\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial sectors.\nExperience in pharma, chemical or food industry is considered a plus.\nKnowledge of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence principles is considered a plus.\nFluent English and Italian.\nEmployment terms:\nThe role is classified at Level B under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico).\nThe guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 41.575,24.\nThe overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.\nContract type:\nPermanentIf you meet the requirements of this opportunity and would like to join an international group working to improve patients' lives, apply now!\nAt Bracco, we believe in the values of diversity and inclusion.
