As part of the Bracco Group, Bracco Medical Technologies benefits from the resources of a multinational conglomerate with broad expertise in cath lab and radiology suite technology and a dedication to continuous advancement.\nWe are currently seeking intern/co-op candidates to learn with us as they engage in a variety of hands-on projects alongside our high-performing and authentic R&D team.\nPosition Summary\nAs a Systems Engineering Co-op/ Intern, you will support the definition, analysis, specification, and validation of medical devices that are used for interventional cardiology and diagnostic imaging. You will report to a senior systems engineer and will work closely with other cross-functional members of the product development team. You will learn systems engineering practices and gain experience by applying them during medical device development. Depending on the project, your responsibilities will include:\nSupport the definition of user needs, system and sub-system requirements, and system architecture.\n\nDevelop and perform testing to support architectural decisions and system characterization.\n\nRemediate requirements to align with the selected architecture of fielded medical devices.\n\nUse requirement and test management tools to create and communicate traceability between system artifacts.\n\nPartner with team members to help diagnose product issues.\n\nPerform trade-off analyses to aid technical decision-making.\n\nAcquire, analyze, and report results for product testing and reliability data.\n\nTraining to be Provided\nStudents will be exposed to working with various operations and product support departments within Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT). They will learn key requirements which need to be followed in a regulated environment such as the medical device industry. Training may cover relevant aspects of medical device development procedures, along with more specific aspects related to BMT products.\nAdditionally, our interns and co-ops benefit from a buddy program, career development programming, and opportunities to build their professional networks virtually and in-person with BMT professionals.\nQualifications\nMinimum\nAt least two years of study towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering or other scientific discipline program.\n\nPreferred\nEnrolled in a biomedical, electrical, mechanical, software, or systems engineering program.\n\nPractical knowledge designing across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.\n\nExperience using requirement and test management tools (e.g., Jama).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nHigh degree of organizational skills and high attention to detail.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nTesting and data analysis experience.\n\nTerm/Hours\nJanuary/May 2027 start dates are preferred with 3-month (intern) or 6-month engagements (co-op).\n\nJob Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota (no relocation or housing assistance available).\n\nHours: 40 hours per week.\n\nTo learn more about Bracco Medical Technologies, please visit our website at: https://careers.braccomedtech.com.\nBracco Medical Technologies is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.\nCompensation & Total Rewards:\nEstimated Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00/hour\n*Estimated Starting Pay Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position.
