We believe our firm’s greatest asset is the people who work here.\nThe Senior Derivatives Operations Specialist resides within our Back Office Operations group. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic group of people while learning about the operational aspects of our firm.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage, prepare, and review the firm’s reconciliation process on a daily basis for all derivative securities.\nReconcile and process principal and interest payments for all derivative securities.\nCommunicate derivative discrepancies with external parties (counterparties, banks, administrators, etc.) as well as internal departments in order to resolve breaks.\nProject, prepare and analyze daily derivative margin calls.\nWork with colleagues internally as well as the firm’s external counterparties.\nGain a working knowledge of the firm’s general trading strategy, operations, and common cash flows.\nAssist in reviewing monthly shareholder statements.\nOther operational, recordkeeping, and data processing assignments as determined.\nQualifications:\nB.A. degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\n3 to 5 years of relevant operational work experience including fund accounting, reconciliation and custody preferred.\nGeneral understanding of post trade derivative settlements.\nUnderstanding of accounting controls as they relate to the investment management industry.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.\nPossess exceptional organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.\nCurrent anticipated annual base salary range: $95,000 - $105,000\nBase salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills and qualifications.\nThe Company does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2645,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Financial Services","Wealth Management","Asset Management"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-13T11:21:35Z"}],"liveness":{"score":32,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.578,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":55,"expected_fill_days":42,"reasons":["conf:4","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":105000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/bracebridgecapital-senior-derivatives-operations-specialist","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/bracebridgecapital-senior-derivatives-operations-specialist.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T13:19:39Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
