Manufacturing engineering connects the design on screen to a reliable robot leaving the bench.\nWe’re hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop assembly processes, fixtures, tests, and production methods for our robots. You’ll work closely with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to make builds more repeatable while improving quality, cost, and assembly time.\nThis is a hands-on role. You’ll build robots, investigate failures, and use what you learn to improve both the product and the way it is made.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop and improve robot assembly, inspection, and test processes.\n\nDesign fixtures, jigs, and tools that make builds faster and more consistent.\n\nWork with engineering on design for manufacturing and assembly.\n\nInvestigate production failures and variation, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\n\nCreate clear work instructions, build records, and quality checks.\n\nHelp introduce new revisions into production and keep process documentation aligned with the design.\n\nWork with operations and suppliers to resolve issues that affect build quality or readiness.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience building or manufacturing electromechanical hardware.\n\nStrong practical problem-solving skills and comfort working at the bench.\n\nUnderstanding of assembly processes, tolerances, fixtures, and quality control.\n\nAbility to turn failure data and observations into measurable process improvements.\n\nClear documentation and collaboration across engineering and operations.\n\nNice to have\nRobotics or early-stage hardware experience.\n\nExperience with test automation, production tooling, or new product introduction.\n\nExperience with machining, additive manufacturing, or supplier process development.\n\nImportant notes\nHands-on assembly, testing, and iteration are central to the role.\n\nYou’ll influence both how the robot is designed and how it is built.\n\nWe value repeatable results, simple processes, and builders who ship.\n\nBracket Bot is an equal opportunity employer.
