In this role, you will perform the finishing/lining of required liners in line with current codes, specifications, and standards, ensuring safe and efficient execution.\nKey responsibilities\nPerform all required finishing tasks as assigned by the area lead, according to work orders.\nCut rubber and prepare liners when requested by the shop supervisor or plant manager, or when necessary to complete your tasks; provide support as needed during your work hours.\nCommunicate and work closely with the Quality Control department.\nAssist with general workshop requirements.\nMaintain order and cleanliness (5S) in your work area.\nMaintain a safe work environment, ensuring all work complies with the company’s labor practices and health, safety, and environmental standards.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nMinimum education: High school.\nEmployment certificate in a similar role.\nAt least 1 year of experience as a rubber lining operator.\nAbility to lift at least 25 kg.\nPrior experience with rubber lining for liners.\nBasic knowledge of different finishing types.\nKnow where and how the workpiece should be processed during finishing.\nTechnical knowledge of materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control.\nAbility to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings.\n3+ years of experience as a Finishing and/or Lining Operator.\nExperience in plastics companies performing deburring tasks.\nAbility to operate power tools (grinders, angle grinders, etc.).\nForklift operation is a plus.\nSkills & competencies\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and frequent tight deadlines.\nAbility to interpret a wide variety of technical information or instructions.\nAble to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nWorks effectively in a team environment.\nStrong work ethic with organization, planning, and attention to detail.\nCommitment to building a long-term relationship with the company.\nWhy join our team?\nWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
