The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical/process knowledge with controls and instrumentation experience and is comfortable troubleshooting equipment in the field.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute onsite commissioning from pre-commissioning through start-up, performance testing, and handover.\nDevelop and execute commissioning procedures, checklists, test protocols, and schedules.\nVerify mechanical completion and system readiness prior to start-up.\nPerform equipment checkout, calibration verification, loop checks, I/O checks, functional testing, and SATs.\nSupport dry and wet commissioning of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, automation, and process systems.\nTroubleshoot equipment, process, instrumentation, PLC/HMI/SCADA, and control-system issues.\nCoordinate daily activities with construction teams, automation engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and client personnel.\nTrack commissioning progress, punch-list items, technical issues, and corrective actions.\nSupport operator training, operational readiness, turnover documentation, and final project handover.\nEnsure commissioning activities comply with project requirements and safety procedures, including LOTO, JHAs, and risk assessments.\nIdeal Candidate\n3-5+ years of industrial experience with hands-on commissioning, start-up, or plant operations experience.\nBackground in renewable energy, biogas/RNG, wastewater treatment, waste-to-energy, power generation, chemical/process plants, or similar industrial facilities.\nStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems.\nExperience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, loop checks, I/O testing, and functional testing.\nAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, electrical drawings, and control schematics.\nStrong field troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nComfortable working independently in an active construction/start-up environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred;
