Other duties may be assigned.\nInstall sheet metal products, such as ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring proper fit and alignment \nPlan, layout, and fabricate Ductwork parts, components, and assemblies\n Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques, soldering of water lines, brazing of refrigeration lines\nMust be familiar with various HVAC equipment such as air handlers, package units, condensers, coils, exhaust fans, etc.\nInstall gas lines and refrigeration lines as needed \nProvide sheet metal instruction and assist in the training of the sheet metal assistants\nMust be able to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. \nMeasuring, marking, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications. \nAttend training to be updated on industry practices as needed\nExperienced in the use of a variety of power and hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers, shears, seamers, etc.\nAble to climb ladders, work on roofs, and work from a variety of aerial work platforms\nDemonstrate familiarity with HVAC system components such as supply and return, liquid and suctions lines, and exhaust ventilation\nAssist in rigging and setting of HVAC equipment\nWork with direction from on-site installation foreman \nMust be able to work at heights from a ladder or aerial work platform\nFollow all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). \nAssists other team members with job duties as necessary \nAbility to travel to the customer’s locations \nAbility to work weekends and/or evenings as necessary\n\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: \nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nThree to five years related experience and/or training\nTwo years of related trade school, preferred\nEquivalent combination of education and experience\nProficiency with computer devices (including laptops, tablets and smart phones) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple iOS software.\nAbility to pass drug screening.\nAbility to prove US employment eligibility.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\nRefrigeration training or certification, preferred\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE\nThe physical demands and environmental exposure outlined below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nPhysical Demands:\nRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, squat, balance, and climb, with occasional sitting and lying.\nRequires working in confined/constricted spaces and at elevated heights (e.g., ladders, scaffolding, rooftops).\nMaterial handling demands include lifting from floor level to overhead and maneuvering in tight or awkward spaces.\nAbility to lift and carry or otherwise move:\no Up to 25 pounds constantly\no Up to 50 pounds occasionally\no Over 50 pounds only with mechanical assistance or team lift, following safety protocols\nAssociates are expected to lift no more than 50 pounds independently, unless assisted by appropriate equipment or a team lift.\nTeam lifts are required for any load exceeding 50 pounds per individual, with clear communication protocols, including verbal confirmation and coordinated movements, to ensure safety.\nMust always follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.\nFrequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks such as tool use, wiring, or securing fasteners.\nMust have sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment.\nMust be able to work at heights.\nMust be able to climb and perform tasks while positioned on ladders.\nRegularly required to use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.\nMust be able to communicate effectively and perceive verbal instructions and warnings in a high-noise industrial environment (above 85 dBA), while wearing required hearing protection.\nVision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nMust have the physical capacity to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends, during peak demand or emergency service periods.\nPosition is classified in the Heavy Physical Demand Classification (PDC).\nENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:\nRegularly exposed to mechanical/equipment rooms, rooftops, and drop ceilings.\nOccasionally required to work in extreme outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and unconditioned indoor spaces.\nThe employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious locations; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
