Managing the team in respect of performance monitoring, appraisal and motivation. To report any unmet training needs in the use of equipment or processes\nTo ensure effective communication with other departments in the Centre and the Estates Management department\nResponsible to ensure the provision of all relevant supplies within available resources\nTake responsibility to contribute to and respond to external inspections\nFacilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks\nQualifications required\nIOSH Certificate for Risk Management or willing to work towards achieving this within the first year of employment\nA valid driving license\nMini Bus driving training certificate or willing to undertake training if applicable\nAbout you\nKnowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH and other relevant legislation\nProven ability to work as part of a team and supervise others\nAbility to work closely with service users and communicate effectively with them\nAble to communicate effectively verbally and in writing\nAble to work within policies and procedures\nAbility to produce risk assessments as required for activities within the role\nSkilled in a range of minor maintenance procedures\nDemonstrable planning skills\nCompetent IT skills\nKey Relationships\nThis role carries line management responsibility for Site Assistants\nResponsible for working alongside and/or supporting volunteers within their team\nThe post holder is expected to interact with and direct contractors that visit the site\nComplexity and Accountability\nThis post holds no budgetary responsibility but will be expected to contribute in helping to manage costs where appropriate\nAccountable to ensure that work activities and inspections comply with Brainkind policies, Care Standards and other regulations and requirements\nValues, Ethics and Confidentiality\nWhen working for Brainkind all employees are required to work responsibly and be accountable for their actions, upholding dignity and the rights and health and wellbeing of our People we Support and their Colleagues.
