The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL HA using Patroni, etcd/Consul, HAProxy, and PgBouncer, PostgreSQL backup and recovery using pgBackRest, MySQL HA using Percona XtraDB Cluster, and database monitoring, security, automation, and troubleshooting.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, configure, administer, and upgrade Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.\n\nDesign and operate PostgreSQL high-availability clusters using Patroni, etcd/Consul, HAProxy, and PgBouncer.\n\nImplement and manage PostgreSQL backup and point-in-time recovery using pgBackRest.\n\nDesign and operate MySQL high-availability clusters using Percona XtraDB Cluster.\n\nImplement and manage database replication, failover, and disaster recovery procedures.\n\nPlan and execute database migrations, including Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations.\n\nPerform backup, restoration, capacity planning, and performance tuning.\n\nImplement database security controls, including access management, encryption, auditing, and hardening.\n\nSet up database monitoring and alerting, and automate routine administration tasks.\n\nTroubleshoot database performance, availability, replication, and connectivity issues.\n\nCollaborate with application, cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.\n\nExperience Requirements\n5+ years of relevant experience in database administration or related fields.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.\n\nHands-on experience with PostgreSQL HA using Patroni, etcd/Consul, HAProxy, and PgBouncer.\n\nHands-on experience with pgBackRest for backup and recovery.\n\nHands-on experience with MySQL HA using Percona XtraDB Cluster.\n\nExperience with database replication, disaster recovery, and migration.\n\nExperience with performance tuning, upgrades, and capacity planning.\n\nExperience with database monitoring, security, and automation (Bash, Python, or similar).\n\nStrong Linux experience and troubleshooting skills.\n\nEducational Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nOracle OCP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relevant database certifications will be an advantage.\n\nBenefits\nAttractive Salary for deserving candidates\nMedical Coverage\nYearly Salary Review\nWeekly two holidays\nProvident fund\nGratuity fund\nTwo festival bonus\nMonthly Performance Bonus\nWPPF.\nOffice time: Mon -
