Our employees are incredibly passionate about the jobs they do – you will find a strong team spirit across our services and amazing colleagues who always pull together and look out for each other.\n\nMAIN PURPOSE: \n\nAs a key member of our Business Administration Team, the Rota Coordinator will work closely with the Hospital Leadership Team to ensure the effective coordination of staff rotas. You will play a vital role in maintaining safe staffing levels and supporting operational needs across the hospital.\n\n MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nCreate and maintain accurate, live rotas reflecting shift changes, sickness, training, leave, and agency cover.\nEnsure rotas are published within agreed timescales and comply with Working Time Regulations\nCollaborate with the Hospital Leadership Team to meet unit-specific staffing needs.\nCoordinate induction schedules and rota integration for new starters.\nUpdate the people management system (POD) with start dates and staffing changes.\nLiaise with managers to manage annual leave and sickness absence effectively.\nKeep leadership informed of staffing plans and changes.\n\nABOUT YOU:\nGCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths\nStrong IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook\nExperience in rota coordination or workforce planning, ideally in a healthcare setting\nKnowledge of safe staffing practices and rota development\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nRewards\n\nYou can look forward to excellent benefits, including handy discounts on many brands and services.\nA competitive salary of £25,299.39 per annum \n38 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) (pro rata)\nBuy and sell up to 5 days annual leave.\nHealth Cash Plan\nAccess to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)\nExcellent training and support\nGroup life assurance.\nEye voucher scheme\nFree parking\nCompany Pension\nLong Service and Staff Awards\n\nWe also put a big focus on employee wellbeing and support.
