You will contribute to technical decisions, share your expertise and help the team deliver high-quality software.\nYour main tasks\nTake ownership of the technical design and development of backend components.\n\nDevelop and maintain REST APIs using C# and .NET 8.\n\nImplement data access with Entity Framework and work with SQL databases.\n\nApply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and dependency injection to deliver maintainable code.\n\nInvestigate technical issues and translate findings into practical solutions.\n\nCollaborate with the technical lead and other team members on implementation choices and integration requirements.\n\nContribute to code quality through reviews, unit testing and automated testing practices.\n\nCommunicate progress, technical decisions and delivery risks clearly.\n\nRequirements\nWhat we are looking for in you\nStrong hands-on experience in .NET development, preferably as a senior developer or technical lead.\n\nProven experience building REST APIs with C# and .NET 8.\n\nPractical experience with Entity Framework.\n\nA solid understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and dependency injection.\n\nSolid SQL knowledge.\n\nThe ability to take responsibility for both technical design and implementation.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nClear communication and a proactive approach to working with colleagues.\n\nFluent English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.\n\nAvailability for a long-term assignment in Antwerp.\n\nAvailability to work on site in Antwerp three days per week, combined with two days of remote work.\n\nExperience with Git, unit testing and automated testing practices, particularly xUnit, is preferred.\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure, is a plus.\nWhat we offer to employees\nAs a Brainsquare employee, you will work alongside experienced technical colleagues and have opportunities to develop your expertise.
