Supervisor/Lead Person. This individual has the authority to take action as necessary to carry out appointed duties.\nPOSITION DUTIES:\nBatter tests.\n\nNet weights.\n\nProduct temperature checks (frozen / fully cooked).\n\nBox counts / Portion weight checks.\n\nBoneless product inspection.\n\nInedible dock checks.\n\nScale / Metal Detector checks.\n\nGeneral record keeping / filing.\n\nBone and contamination reports.\n\nVerify monitors tests to satisfy HACCP.\n\nSample collection for bacti / prep and fat moisture.\n\nFormulation checks / marination checks/ brine checks.\n\nReturned product inspection / paperwork.\n\nFFA oil tests (able to differentiate colors).\n\nCooler checks.\n\nAssist with receiving inspection.\n\nTolerant of extended periods of time standing / walking and variation in environment (temperatures, humidity, flour, etc.).\n\nBug light checks (weekly) / Rodent trap checks(inside / outside(monthly)).\n\nThermometer calibration checks.\n\nSanitation inspections (inside/outside).\n\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:\nInspection of incoming chicken for company specifications.\n\nCheck of sized products.\n\nCollect samples for bacteria tests and fat & moisture tests.\n\nPoultry net weight checks on incoming chicken.\n\nReporting of meat inspection results.\n\nInspect incoming dry ingredients.\n\nRecord keeping pertaining to receiving.\n\nLabel incoming skids with proper accept/reject labels.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to cold, some heavy lifting, dust, noise, slippery floors. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Weight classes of \"1,4,5,13&14\" or willing to test. Math test will be administered to applicants who have never previously been tested. A 50% minimum score is required. Computer knowledge and the ability to work well with other departments is beneficial. Certified power jack operator or willing to become certified. Self motivated, quality minded, reliable individual. Must be able to work with little supervision. Ability to use paging/mobile phone system.
