Must be able and available to work overtime as required.\nJob Summary: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require:\nEssential Functions:\nMust obey all safety, USDA, HACCP, and the Company rules and regulations.\n\nMust know shop mathematics, able to interpret drawings, and be able to use tools required.\n\nMaintain entire ammonia system including valve gangs, evaporators, vessels, compressors, etc.\n\nMechanically inclined with ability to utilize hand tools and testing equipment\n\nObserve and record temperatures and pressures as required\n\nObserve and maintain air compressors and dryers\n\nMaintain water systems including pumps and softeners\n\nMaintain quick water system\n\nVariety of pipefitting and plumbing, work with PVC, galvanized, black and stainless pipe up to 4” dia.\n\nPerform HAZMAT duties as required.\n\nKeep compressor rooms and related areas cleaned\n\nPhysical requirements must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. on a consistent basis.\n\nMust have good communication skills (both written and oral).\n\nMust be able to work weekends and overtime.\n\nCommunicating with management when there are concerns with the following: ProductionSafetyEmployee Relations\n\nPerforms other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
