{"id":2994912,"url":"https://alion.io/job/brakebush-sanitation-supervisor-3rd-shift","title":"Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd shift","company":{"id":2618031,"name":"Brakebush","domain":"brakebush.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/brakebush","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":null,"employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":67000,"max_usd":157000,"period":"year","method":"role_country_seniority_unknown","sample_n":15150},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":true,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"GMP","optional":false},{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":true},{"name":"Outlook","optional":true}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-19T07:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-19","last_verified_at":"2026-10-31T20:47:08Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":12,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":12},"description":"Title: Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd shift, 3rd Shift Req ID: 9498\nCity, State: Westfield, WI\nReports to: Sanitation Manager\nClassification: Exempt\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nSummary: The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of sanitation team members, procedures, programs and regulatory requirements, ensuring all plant equipment is clean and safe for production.\nEssential Functions:\nEmpowers team members, through supervision, training and feedback opportunities, to meet and exceed expectations for productivity, quality assurance, waste management and food/personal safety.\nEnsures compliance of company policies and procedures, safety regulations, GMP’s, SOP’s, SSOP’s, HACCP and SQF.\nCoordinates and guides team on a variety of situations including startups, shutdowns, preoperational inspections, product changeovers, change management concerns and sanitation.\nLeads the performance appraisal and progressive, corrective action steps to promote positive and safe teamwork environments. \nRequired Qualifications:\nDemonstrated three years supervisory or leadership skills in a USDA regulated facility leading a sanitation/production team OR a bachelor’s degree with a prior Food Science (or closely related) internship.\nWorking knowledge of sanitation chemicals usage and applications.\nWorking knowledge of USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP.\nDemonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment and the ability to formulate and understand complex mathematical equations.\nStrong interpersonal skills, to include professional oral and written communication, a team-focused approach and the ability to model composure/make decisions in stressful situations. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nA post-secondary degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Meat/Poultry Science, Engineering or Manufacturing Operations or related field.\nPrior experience with SAP or Infinity\nBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred\nCompetent in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook\nKnowledge of general First Aid and CPR\nSupervisory Responsibility: This position will supervise the sanitation team members at the Westfield facility.\nWork Environment: Wide variations in environment temperature (-10 freezer, 32-degree coolers, 40-degree plant, wet cold environment) noise, slippery floors and moving equipment. Appropriate PPE and other protection as necessary or required.\nPhysical Demands: Position will include extensive standing at times, sitting, lifting, wearing factory required equipment while working in production, walking, visual, responding quickly to sounds and driving.\nPosition Type: This is an exempt, third shift position.
