We at BranchPattern are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Building Science Summer Internsto join our Analytics and Sustainability Consulting team for Summer 2027. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in the fast-growing field of building science, with a focus on green building consulting, energy analytics, and building commissioning. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and consultants to assistin evaluating building performance, optimizingenergy efficiency, and implementing sustainable design practices. Analytics Intern Key Responsibilities: Learn the basics of energy modeling, including how building systems interact to use energy, how to build out geometry and engineering systems in energy modeling software, and how to analyze model results. Learn how existing buildings use energy and how to evaluate an existing building's energy use, buildings systems, and occupancy to make energy efficiency-related recommendations. This includes on-site visits to buildings to understand how they are being utilized.
