They will also connect with their online peers and tour Brandeis University.\nBrandeis University seeks Instructors to teach the Better to Learn courses. Instructors will be employed by Brandeis University.\nResponsibilities\nCreate a 10-session semester-long course on a topic approved in advance by Brandeis and LHF on the following dates (last 2 sessions to be taught in person at the Seminar);\nOctober 18 (Orientation at 5:30PM), 25\nNovember 1, 8, 15, 22\nDecember 6, 13\nProvide course syllabus to Brandeis and LHF staff at least one month prior to the beginning of classes.\nPrepare suggested readings for student (1 per session).\nDeliver 1 hour course sessions via Zoom (either from 6-7pm EST or 7:15-8:15pm EST) on Sunday evenings.\nRegister for a Brandeis email address and host Zoom session (tech set up by Brandeis).\nRead and evaluate students’ final papers.\nQualifications\nAdvanced academic degree or coursework in Judaic Studies.\nExperience in developing and implementing curriculum for teens.\nExperience teaching and working with teens.\nMust be creative, flexible and able to comply with all program policies.\nCompensation:\nOne Class per semester + Winter Retreat: $6,825\nTwo classes per semester + Winter Retreat: $13650\nPlease apply through the Brandeis Career Page Workday portal.
