This position serves as a liaison between university departments and Information Technology Services to provide systems support and analysis, and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the users of Workday throughout the University. The Workday ITS Analyst collaborates with ITS Project Managers in building project plans, adheres to project schedules, and works effectively with peers.\nJob Description:\n- The Workday ITS Analyst will play a key role in the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Workday to meet changing business requirements to improve efficiency and service.\nPrepare for and support twice-annual Workday systems upgrades, releases, and annual processes. Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, which must be approved by appropriate governance bodies prior to implementation.\n\nDiagnose and resolve system issues (e.g. end-user, business process, security, integration, etc….).\n\nUnder the direction of the Sr. Assoc. Director of ERP Operations and Implementations will assist with leading defined scope projects and new functionality implementations by defining implementation requirements and completing projects in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.\n\nUtilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.\n\nAssists in the testing for Workday semi-annual releases, including the development of test plans and other supporting documentation (i.e. scripts).\n\nReview release notes, assess new features and impacts to business processes and basic changes in functionality.\n\nAssists with coordinating project activities, such as prototyping, testing, communication, and rollout with University departments as needed.\n\n- Responsible for investigating, analyzing and resolving end-user problems and Workday related systems issues through configuration analysis, process improvement, data loading and data integrity, reporting, research, testing, and/or scenario re-creation.\n- Assists with Workday report requirements gathering and development as needed.\n- Maintains awareness of current trends in Workday with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Participates actively in the Workday Community. Participates in user group meetings/conferences.\nThe salary range for the position is $85k - 93K.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent HRIS work experience.\n\nWork Experience: 2 years experience configuring and maintaining business processes, including creating condition rules. Basic knowledge of Workday security and general knowledge of Workday integration concepts. Experience in maintaining a high degree of discretion with data .\n\nTechnical Skills: Experience with Workday request framework, business processes, custom object forms, and questionnaires. Experience creating Workday custom objects. Experience with Workday reporting writing required.\n\nFunctional Skills: Functional knowledge of HR and Finance core business processes, as well as a strong background in systems analysis and support, with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges, is required. Knowledge of HCM and Finance concepts, practices, and procedures, with the ability to apply them in routine situations and the ability to innovate. Functional knowledge of student information systems is a plus.\n\nProblem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex integration issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges and the ability to innovate and implement creative solutions to optimize Workday’s functionality. Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional manner with an emphasis on service quality.\n\nProject Management: Experience working in cross-functional project teams and handling multiple integrations and applications simultaneously.\n\nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nPay Range Disclosure\nThe University's pay ranges represent a good faith estimate of what Brandeis reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting.
