This is not a feature delivery role-this position focuses on platform design, system architecture, and enabling engineering teams at scale. This is a hybrid position where you will be required to go into an office in Woonsocket, RI a few days a week and work from home the other days.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead design and development of scalable, maintainable React-based platforms\nDefine and drive front-end architecture, standards, and best practices\nBuild and govern reusable component libraries, design systems, and design tokens\nEnable platform thinking: shared services, modular architecture, and extensibility\nMentor engineers and guide teams across multiple workstreams\nCollaborate with architects, product, and UX leadership on long-term vision\nEnsure performance, security, and scalability of front-end systems\nMentor engineers and guide teams in adopting platform standards and architectural best practices\nImplement coding best practices and participate in ongoing security training and awareness\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of hands-on experience in React and modern front-end ecosystems\nStrong expertise in architecture patterns (Micro Frontends, Monorepo, Modular UI)\nProven experience designing reusable UI frameworks and design systems\nDeep understanding of state management, data fetching, and caching strategies\nExperience working in large, distributed teams and enterprise environments\nStrong problem-solving mindset with ability to think beyond immediate features\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with platform engineering / front-end platform model\nFamiliarity with design token frameworks and theming strategies\nExposure to cloud-native deployments and edge delivery (CDN-based apps)\nPrior experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated domains(optional)\nWhat Success Looks Like\nA scalable platform that allows 10+ teams to ship independently without breaking the overall application\nClear architectural patterns that balance autonomy and consistency\nImproved developer velocity through reusable tooling and shared infrastructure\nStable, performant applications even as the system grows in complexity\nKey Competencies\nSystems thinking and architectural design\nTrade-off analysis and decision-making\nClear communication and technical leadership\nStructured debugging and problem-solving approach\nAbout Us:\nBranding Brand launched in 2008 as an interactive marketing firm and quickly evolved into the largest and fastest-growing provider of mobile commerce apps and sites for retailers.\nBranding Brand is a supporter of the Whitehouse Equal Pay Pledge, and a Top Workplaces award winner.
