Ideal candidates are skilled in React and have API / web server experience. TypeScript, Native iOS, or Android knowledge, and Node / AWS experience is a plus. This is a hybrid position where you will be required to go into an office in Woonsocket, RI a few days a week and work from home the other days.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript\nBuild reusable UI components and ensure consistency across applications\nIntegrate APIs and manage client-side state efficiently\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprint planning\nOptimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness\nCollaborate closely with UX, backend, and product teams in a large-team environment\nWork with senior developers and architects to produce world-class mobile e-commerce experiences used by over 10 million visitors a day\nContribute to the evolution of our technology\nTake web and app projects from mock-ups to completion\nDevelop mobile frameworks and toolkits\nDevelop enterprise React applications\nWork closely with Designers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Account/Project Managers to communicate status of projects\nWork with bug tracking/project management software suites, including Jira\nImplement secure coding best practices and participate in ongoing security training and awareness\nQualifications:\nStrong background in web languages and technologies: React.js, React Native, Javascript, TypeScript, Node.js\nStrong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern ES6+ features\nExperience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query)\nFamiliarity with component-driven architecture and reusable design patterns\nExperience working in large engineering teams and enterprise-scale applications\nSolid understanding of performance optimization and debugging tools\nUnderstanding of functional programming\nAbility to transform design mockups and wireframes into functional components\nStrong skill-set in creative problem solving\nBackground in iOS and Android is a definite plus, but not required\nA solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design\nPrior experience in test-driven development is a plus\nPrior experience in retail or hospitality technology is a plus\nPrior experience in mobile e-commerce is a plus\nExperience with Git source control\nExperience with bash/command line is a plus\nExperience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs is a plus\nExperience with Micro Frontends / Module Federation\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rsbuild)\nExposure to design systems and UI libraries\nAbout Us:\nBranding Brand launched in 2008 as an interactive marketing firm and quickly evolved into the largest and fastest-growing provider of mobile commerce apps and sites for retailers.\nBranding Brand is a supporter of the Whitehouse Equal Pay Pledge, and a Top Workplaces award winner.
