Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner for month end reporting. The position will also work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and Accountants. \n\nWhat we offer:\n Competitive Remuneration Package \n Positive and supportive working environment \n Advancement Opportunities within the Organisation as we grow.\nEmployee Assistance Program\n Be a key part of the continuous growth of our company. \nSalary packaging & novated leasing\nDuties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nFinancial Management\nManage and oversee the communication of monthly cut-off schedules to respective branches\nReview Month End Journals, Accruals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations\nReview the Company’s internal consolidation entries\nReview and analysis of monthly Inventory and KPI reporting pack\nProvide explanations and respond to enquiries with solutions regarding financial statements to managers and operations teams\nDevelop and deliver financial training to non-financial managers\nReview maintenance and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register, and monthly depreciation and amortization journal entries\nReview updates and reconciliations of IFRS16 schedule\nReview Hire Purchase Loan reconciliations\nReview monthly salesman commission accruals according to salesman commission policy\nAuthorise daily and weekly payments including creditor payments as required\nReview the preparation of annual operational and capital budgets\nIn conjunction with Director of Financial Reporting & Control and VP’s review and analyse operating results against budgets\nProvide assistance and support to Director of Financial Reporting & Control as and when requiredIT Systems\n\n Support as required with the administration of the accounting system\nAnalysis of data from IT system via report writing and Microsoft excelStaff management & Administration\n\n Provide administrative support to the Finance and Operations teams\nCreate an environment which encourages a productive and friendly workplace and one that supports ideas for business improvement\nEnsure work standards are adhered to by all staff and complete staff reviewsCompliance & Governance\n\n Lead the Annual Audit requirements to meet company and regulatory requirements\nComplete the audited annual IFRS Financial Statements\nCoordinate and file income tax returns and FBT return and payments, accurately, and on time\nProvide education and support for FBT record keeping and training for the company from end to end\nReview the monthly Reconciliation & Payment of Payroll Tax\nReview the annual Reconciliation of Payroll Tax and Workcover\nReview and lodgement of Monthly BAS’ including quarterly FBT and monthly Income tax instalments\nCo-ordinate & Audit Internal Controls compliance\nAbout you:\n Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience within a similar role\nCurrent CA or CPA qualification\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability\nExtensive experience using Excel and other accounting software\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, time-management and organizational skills are essential.\nAbout us:\nBrandt is a world-leading equipment dealer, powered by iconic brands and unrivalled support.
