Must know what isrequiredfor a reliable design.\n\nProficiencyinStructuralDesign, sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, LEAN principles.\n\nUnderstanding of fuel,exhaust,cooling and braking systems,materials,and industry standards\n\nExperienceinwithvehicle compartments likeClosures&Suspensions.\n\nKnowledge of materials and benefits ofutilizingone type over the other\n\nSolid working knowledge of quality, design and validation tools including FEA, DFA/M, DOE, D/PFMEA, DVP&R, problem solving (8D or similar),GD&T and ToleranceStack-up.\n\nMust be detail-oriented anda self-starter.\n\nPossess the ability to function well under the demands of project due dates\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills needed\n\nWellorganized,accurateandpossessesa strong attention to detail\n\nDemonstrated ability to effectively solve and analyze problems\n\nDesire to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nPrototype fabrication and weldingknowledgepreferred\n\nWindows (computer), Outlook (email), Inventor,AutoCad, Vault, MS Office, and Epicor (ERP)\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineeringisrequired.\nMinimum of5yearswork experience in automotive design isrequired.\nPreviousassembly plant launch experience preferred\nDimensional Management and Understanding of GD&Trequired\nExperience withMechanism,Steel andAluminumpart design and manufacturing\nCross-Functional Team Experience\nExperience with VA/VE\nBraunAbility is an equal opportunity employer.
