Full-Stack Engineer (React/Node.js) – Media & AdTech

About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong front-end focus to work on web solutions in the media and advertising space. You will work primarily with React and Node.js, with a focus on media experiences, web players, scalable content delivery, and video/image-related functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining modern web applications with a strong focus on React.

• Building and improving backend services using Node.js.

• Working on features related to video and image processing, media delivery, and web players.

• Building responsive, performant, and maintainable user-facing functionality.

• Improving application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.

• Working with media and advertising-related functionality across the application stack.

• Contributing to technical decisions and suggesting improvements to existing solutions.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Collaborating with other engineers and product stakeholders throughout the development process.

• Participating in code reviews and supporting good engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Commercial experience in full-stack or front-end focused software development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.

• Commercial experience with Node.js.

• Strong understanding of modern web application development.

• Experience integrating applications with APIs and backend services.

• Good understanding of web performance and scalable application development.

• Ability to independently solve technical problems and take ownership of delivered features.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and product teams.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in AdTech, media, publishing, or digital advertising.

• Experience working with video or image processing.

• Experience developing or integrating web-based media players.

• Experience working on high-traffic or large-scale web applications.

• Understanding of media delivery and performance optimisation.

• Experience with content-heavy or media-heavy applications.

• Experience with advertising-related functionality or integrations.

• Familiarity with browser performance optimisation.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Experience with automated testing.

• Experience with CI/CD environments.

• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools.
