Primary Customer for this role will be Application Development Manager/Development Lead and Primary Suppliers will be Business and Technical Consultants.\nWhat you ll do\nAdvanced level software development and coding for one of Bravura’s Wealth Management Product offerings.\nUndertake troubleshooting and problem solving of software defects, application and technical environment issues. \nAdvanced level ability to de-bug code and identify and rectify defects or data issues. \nDevelop and execute effective unit and function tests for all software changes. \nWorking with Business Analysts, Technical Specialists and Technical Consultants, complete software design and estimation activities for complex enhancements \nWorking with Business Consultants, Business Analysts, Technical Specialists and Technical Consultants, assist with formulating software solutions that address business requirements. \nProvide assistance as required to colleagues (e.g. other Developers, Business Analysts/Consultants and Test Analysts) \nUndertake software builds and installations. \nAssist with preparation and delivery of software releases. \nUnderstand and follow technical and quality standards and procedures. \nSuggest and recommend changes to technical standards and procedures. \nCompetently use project and team systems (JIRA, Confluence) Document all work effectively. \nUndertake and participate in peer reviews. \nParticipate effectively in team and project meetings. \nEnsure assigned work is completed in a timely fashion and in accordance to agreed estimates.\nContribute to the development of AI-Driven SDLC use cases\nUnleash Your Potential\nKey Skills\nB.E./B.Tech/MCA \n5-8 years of experience. \nHas experience with large/complex Software Product development \nWorked in software development environment with medium to large teams (i.e. teams > 5 persons) \nHas worked within organizations where typical or best-practice software development methods and practices have been utilized. \nPreferably experience of working on relevant Financial Services software product.\nTechnical\nProgressive commercial Java development experience \nA proven understanding of industry standard software development life cycles \nExcellent working knowledge of Java 11 or above, including the Eclipse IDE\nExcellent working knowledge of popular Java frameworks such as Hibernate, JSP/JSF and web services. \nWorked on Java swing, Java web start, Java desktop and data binding frameworks. \nProven knowledge of databases, to include solid experience of SQL. RDMS performance optimization experience. \nTroubleshooting and debugging techniques.\nHands-on experience in efficiently using AI-Powered Tools for AI-assisted development practices.\nPersonal\nProven ability of working in a team environment. \nExcellent communication skills both written and oral - including ability to explain technical designs and issues. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the initiative to proactively resolve issues. \nProven adaptability and responsiveness \nProven client service skills \nSelf-control and resilience including the ability to work and manage effectively under pressure and respond positively to tight deadlines. \nExcellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality\n.\nWorking at Bravura\nOur people are the heart of our business.
