Be you ... be here.\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Manager, Data Quality and Metadata Management leads enterprise-wide data governance initiatives across Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) in alignment with the Enterprise Data Strategy. This role drives data management practices within a highly regulated banking environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and interactions with regulatory organizations. The leader partners across business, risk, legal, and technology teams to establish strong data controls, oversee metadata and governance platforms such as Collibra, and improve data quality outcomes that support critical business and regulatory reporting. Success in this role requires hands-on leadership, strong banking risk and governance expertise, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to provide clear direction, develop teams, and elevate data management capabilities through strategic execution.Essential Job Functions\nAccountable for the implementation of data management capabilities such as data cataloging, data lineage, data profiling and monitoring. Develop the Data Management roadmap for multiple capabilities and lead the execution of the roadmap. - (40%)\n\nWork with partners across the organization to garner engagement in data management deliverables, ensure clarity of roles, meet communication & training needs and identify areas for improvement. - (30%)\n\nInfluence strategy, create the roadmap and manage delivery of the roadmap for all capabilities. Manage a distributed team across the U.S. and India, including hiring, active coaching and working to remove any challenges. Ensure all team objectives are met by actively working alongside the team - (30%)\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n\n10-13 years of experience in Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Master Data Management. Demonstrated experience leading a Data Management function.\n\n3+ years of leadership experience.\n\n Preferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business. or equivalent, relevant work experience\n\nDAMA or DCAM\n\n6+ years of experience in Banking and Financial services, particularly in card processing.\n\nExperience with enterprise data governance and metadata management platforms, preferably Collibra and/or Informatica.\n\nDeep understanding of Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) within complex organizations.\n\nPrior experience supporting data management initiatives in a highly regulated banking or financial services environment.\n\nFamiliarity with banking regulatory expectations and interactions with regulators.\n\nSkills\nData Quality\n\nMetadata Management\n\nData Management\n\nData Governance\n\nData Analysis\n\nEstablishing Procedures\n\nAgile Projects\n\nMetrics Reporting\n\nReports To: Director and above\nDirect Reports: 6 - 10\nWork Environment\nNormal office environment. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
