You’ll have the ownership to shape those decisions, work closely with the people affected by them, and see what happens after you ship.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own meaningful product work from the initial customer problem through release and follow-up.\nThis is not a role where Product defines every requirement and Engineering takes over at implementation. You will work directly with Product, Design, CX, Operations, and other engineers to understand the problem, shape the solution, make technical decisions, and own the outcome after release.\nA project might involve designing a new React Native experience, updating eligibility and product rules, introducing new APIs and database models, integrating with a payment provider, building internal tools for CX, and monitoring how the feature performs in production.\nYou will join a small engineering team working on a product with large scale, and with direct consequences for customers’ access to money.\nBree has grown quickly, and our codebase reflects that. Some areas are well established; others need careful modernisation. We’re looking for someone who can improve the foundations while continuing to ship reliable product changes for customers.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe full lifecycle of a feature, including discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, monitoring, and follow-up\n\nWork across our TypeScript and Node.js serverless backend, including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS, as well as our React Native application\n\nMake practical architectural decisions about service boundaries, data ownership, and when to refactor versus extend an existing system.\n\nInstrument what you ship and hold the line on stability without slowing releases.\n\nUse tools such as Codex, Cursor and Claude Code to move faster while remaining responsible for correctness, testing, and quality.\n\nMentor other engineers through technical design, code review, and cross-stack collaboration.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nProven experience shipping customer-facing products end to end, with meaningful technical and architectural ownership.\n\nAn AI-native development approach: you use tools such as Claude Code and Cursor throughout planning, implementation, debugging, testing, and review, while applying the judgement needed to validate and own the result.\n\nExpert-level TypeScript;
