We have the runway to think long term while remaining early enough that every person joining today can have a meaningful impact on what we build.\nWe are hiring a Compliance Operations Specialist to join our team!\nAs our Compliance Operations Specialist, you'll run the day-to-day operations of our compliance program and make sure our processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with regulatory standards across every market we serve. You'll own the KYC, AML, and BSA workflows that keep Breeze safe and auditable as we scale. Reporting to the Head of Compliance. \nWe're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, wants meaningful ownership, and is excited to build rather than simply maintain.\nWhat You'll Do\nReview and approve user KYC cases.\nInvestigate transaction monitoring alerts and escalate suspicious activity.\nReview sanctions and PEP screening alerts.\nScreen crypto wallets and transactions for risk.\nRun enhanced due diligence on high-risk users.\nSupport SAR drafting and escalation decisions.\nRespond to information requests from partners, banks, and law enforcement.\nKeep clear, audit-ready case records.\nSuggest improvements to rules, tools, and processes.\nWork with Risk, Fraud, Support, and Product on investigations.\nSupport EU compliance obligations, including regulatory filings and AML responsibilities tied to our EU CASP entity.\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years in compliance at a fintech, payments, banking, or crypto company.\nHands-on KYC experience.\nStrong AML knowledge, including BSA/AML and OFAC.\nTransaction monitoring experience.\nCrypto experience, including blockchain analytics tools.\nSanctions and PEP screening experience.\nStrong attention to detail and clear written communication.\nComfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, without an established playbook.\nA builder mentality with a strong bias toward action.\nExcited to use AI and automation to work smarter and rethink existing processes.\nComfortable getting into the details and doing the work, regardless of seniority.\nNice to Have\nExperience drafting SARs.\nExperience with third-party KYC and fraud platforms.\nExperience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.\nWhy Breeze\nMore than payments: We're building an intelligent infrastructure layer across payments, compliance, risk, fraud, chargebacks, reconciliation, and customer support.\nAI from the ground up: AI isn't an add-on.
