This posting provides a centralized opportunity for us to connect with promising early-career talent and consider candidates for placements aligned with our evolving project and team needs.\nAs an intern or co-op student, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge to real engineering challenges, contribute to the development of next-generation energy and powertrain systems, and learn alongside a team working at the forefront of electrified performance.\nWe’re looking for curious, driven individuals who enjoy solving difficult problems, take ownership of their work, and thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on engineering environment.\nAreas of Opportunity\nDepending on your background, technical interests, and the needs of the team, opportunities may span areas such as:\nMechanical Engineering & CAD: Create and update 3D models, assemblies, detailed 2D engineering drawings, and mechanical designs; support design iteration and development.\n\nElectrical Engineering: Support electrical design, component integration, wiring and harnesses, and related electrical systems.\n\nSystems Engineering: Contribute to system architecture, requirements development, component integration, and cross-functional engineering coordination.\n\nPrototyping, Testing & Validation: Support prototype builds, test setup and execution, data collection, troubleshooting, and design validation.\n\nManufacturing & Production Engineering: Contribute to design for manufacturability, assembly processes, tooling, production methods, and process improvement.\n\nSoftware & Controls: Support embedded systems, controls, data analysis, automation, and software development for energy and powertrain systems.\n\nSpecific responsibilities will depend on the placement, your skills, and the projects you support. Not every area will have an active opening at all times.\nWhat You'll Bring\nCurrent enrollment in a college or university program in engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nStrong technical fundamentals and a genuine interest in building, testing, and improving real-world systems.\n\nA hands-on, analytical approach to solving challenging problems, with a willingness to question assumptions and explore better solutions.\n\nInitiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments.\n\nThe ability to collaborate across disciplines, communicate openly, and consider the broader team’s needs while making meaningful progress independently.\n\nThe ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute in a fast-moving environment.\n\nRelevant technical projects, personal builds, research, laboratory experience, CAD proficiency, programming experience, or previous internships are valuable.
