Stakeholder management and increasing competency of finance department.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReporting:\nPrepare and close the monthly reporting on time and in full compliance with the Corporate Reporting Guideline and Accounting Standards.\nPrepare and manage corporate reporting of financial results (SAP, OneStream, GTC, GLC).\nOversee and maintain compliance with internal and statutory audits.\nAssist with annual budgets and forecasts and capital expenditure plans for finance cost center.\nInternal Control:\nTo ensure compliance with the internal control guidelines, Rules of procedure, Delegation of Duties, including highlighting concerns to Regional Finance Director.\nTax:\nOversee all tax matters including preparation of tax returns, handle tax audits (if any) together with external advisors.\nTreasury & Risk Management:\nOversee the management of the treasury and risk functions relevant to the Company.\nTeam & Stakeholder Management:\nImprove the competency of the Finance Team and liaison between Finance Team and the various departments.\nRequirements:\nPreferably Degree in Accountancy / Professional Accounting Qualification or equivalent with relevant working experience.\nMinimum 8 to 10 years working experience in multinational corporations, 3 years of relevant experience in local tax /tax computation and 3 years of Finance Manager role in multinational corporations.\nStrong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.\nExcellent interpersonal and workplace communication skills.\nExtensive experience in utilizing Group Reporting systems and SAP systems, experience in OneStream Reporting and SAP system will be advantageous, and should possessed advanced Microsoft Excel skills\nAble to deliver accurate and high-quality work.\nMeticulous and deadline conscious.\nOther information:\n5-days work week (Monday to Friday)\nWorking Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm\nCompany transport provided at designated pick-up point (Jurong West, Boon Lay, Lakeside, Jurong East, Serangoon, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands MRT)\nBrenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
