The Operations Assistant enables warehouse and supervisory personnel to remain focused on safe, efficient, and productive material handling operations while maintaining high levels of customer service and regulatory compliance.\nKey Responsibilities\nShipping & Receiving Support\nProcess and maintain receiving and shipping documentation.\nCoordinate inbound and outbound appointments with carriers and transportation providers.\nPrepare and distribute shipment paperwork to support on-time customer deliveries.\nMonitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues affecting customer orders.\nAssist with proof-of-delivery requests, shipment tracking, and customer inquiries.\nBSI & BNE Operations Support\nSupport daily BSI and BNE order processing activities.\nPrepare customer-specific shipping documents and compliance paperwork.\nCoordinate inbound receipts and outbound deliveries to ensure efficient execution and communication.\nAssist with specialty product labeling requirements and shipping instructions.\nInventory & Documentation Control\nSupport inventory transactions, reconciliations, and inventory control processes.\nMaintain accurate shipping, receiving, quality, and operational records.\nEnsure documentation is retained in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nAssist with cycle counts, inventory investigations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.\nAdministrative & Operational Support\nGenerate reports and support operational metrics tracking.\nAssist warehouse leadership with scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.\nMaintain organized filing systems for operational and compliance-related records.\nCommunication & Coordination\nServe as a central point of communication between Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, Purchasing, and warehouse personnel.\nFacilitate timely communication regarding order status, shipment readiness, customer requirements, and operational priorities.\nSupport cross-functional efforts to improve workflow efficiency and responsiveness.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, operations administration, customer service, or warehouse support.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.\nPreferred\nExperience in chemical, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations.\nExperience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar business systems.\nKnowledge of transportation documentation, inventory control, and shipping compliance requirements.\nExperience supporting customer service and logistics operations.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in an office and warehouse environment.\nOccasional walking throughout warehouse and operational areas.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds when needed.\nAbility to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.\nSchedule\nMonday through Friday\n10:00 AM to 7:00 PM\nThis schedule aligns with peak shipping and receiving activity and provides critical support during the overlap of inbound receiving, order processing, BSI shipment coordination, and outbound
