The ideal candidate will possess strong Process Engineering expertise with the ability to identify, analyze, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will also demonstrate effective project management capabilities, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization.\nThe Operations Engineer will cover all aspects of process, including:\nManufacturing efficiency\nPlant and process safety\nEquipment review to ensure safety, efficiency, and compatibility from both a material and day-to-day operational perspective\nGeneral manufacturing needs\nFinished product quality\nThe Operations Engineer will also assist with process-related safety and training, project design and implementation, regulatory and compliance assistance, and external technical support for the commercial group.\nReporting Structure\nThis position has a matrix reporting structure, reporting to the BNA - Engineering Manager and the Director Logistics & Operations - Canada.\nKey Accountabilities\nProcess Support and Optimization\nResponsible for day-to-day and long-term process support and process optimization in all areas of the assigned facilities. The result should improve process safety, efficiency, reliability (asset integrity), and product quality, while reducing manufacturing costs.\nSupport site leaders in implementing best practices, KPI management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nReview and update operating procedures and guidelines to verify standards are achieved consistently, and modify as necessary to improve operational efficiency and safety.\nEnsure operators and supervisors adhere to standards and are documented as certified for each standard as required.\nEnsure operators and supervisors adhere to standards and are documented as certified for each standard as required.\nProject and CAPEX Management\nAssist in managing and supporting active projects within Brenntag facilities.
