{"id":3769023,"url":"https://alion.io/job/brenntag-production-operator-21","title":"Production Operator","company":{"id":453210,"name":"Brenntag","domain":"brenntag.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/brenntag-3","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":82,"open_postings":47,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.702,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":42,"computed_at":"2026-11-08T05:47:12Z"}},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Brampton, Canada"],"countries":["CA"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"GMP","optional":false},{"name":"Outlook","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-11-04T21:03:08Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-11-04","last_verified_at":"2026-11-08T17:58:59Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":4,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":4},"description":"Operator\nPurpose of position:\nTo safely perform the tasks assigned by Site Management as they relate to chemical handling, shipping, receiving, storing, blending and packaging in accordance with procedures that conform to all corporate and local policies, programs and budget.\nReporting Structure:\nThis position reports directly to the Site Manager/Site Supervisor/Operations Manager as identified.\nThere are no direct reports to this position.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\nPerforms role in a manner that is reflective of Brenntag’s Core Values, within regulatory requirements and company policies, programs and expectations;\nEnsures a safe work environment at all times, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to Site Management;\nExecutes the fulfillment of customers’ orders and requirements through the processes of blending, packaging, order pulling and shipment of goods, packaged and bulk;\nInspects, loads and unloads packaged and bulk products (Rail and Tanker) in a safe, efficient manner and confirms all appropriate regulatory documentation is in order; performs quality tests where required;\nInspects and verifies the satisfactory performance of all equipment and tools used in this area of operations, recommends changes where necessary, and actively participates in keeping the work area clean, organized and functional;\nShares in the responsibility of managing the inventory of both finished goods and raw material, ensuring that all material movements are properly documented and safe storage and handling procedures are followed;\nSupports and follows Brenntag’s ‘Job 7’ product shipment best practices initiatives;\nCompletes other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager/Site Supervisor/ Operations Manager.\nWork Environmen t\nThis position requires the candidate to lift up to 25kg, stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs.\nTechnical Competencies:\nSecondary School Diploma\nPage 2 of 2\nPrevious experience in an industrial or chemical handling environment (1-2 years)\nKnowledge and/or training in TDG, WHMIS, Emergency Response, Forklift License\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ERP systems would be considered an asset\nCommitment to safety and past Joint Health & Safety Committee experience is considered an asset\nGMP Compliance:\nFor the purposes of GMP compliance and within Brenntag’s GMP/API program the individual holding this role is considered Trained Personnel.\nTrained Personnel are primarily involved with physically receiving APIs, completing the API receiving checklist, and forwarding the relevant information to Qualified Personnel.\nThese responsibilities may be expanded or reduced to meet Brenntag’s regulatory obligations.
