To act as the sites depot Management Representative for BRC, VDA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and develop the depots systems for ensuring product quality and integrity.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide BRC support., lead the implementation of systems and act as the Management Representative during site external & customer audits.\n\nSupport the Operations Manager in the management of the QMS and in preparing and undergoing external accreditation audits and Regulatory Visits (ie BRC, VDA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)\n\nCompletion of Internal Audit programme at both sites in conjunction with depot Internal Auditors.\n\nCreate the Scunthorpe depot HACCP risk assessments and fulfil the role of HACCP team leader.\n\nComplete Customer questionnaires for both sites’ customers in a timely manner.\n\nAssist site Operations Manager with the preparation and completion of Customer, Supplier and legal audits.\n\nManage lab trials and new product development.\n\nIn conjunction with the Operations Manager, manage the Customer Complaint system - to include complaint investigation and corrective action implementation, non-conforming product and customer liaison.\n\nAnalysis of materials (both raw materials and finished goods) in accordance with agreed parameters and maintenance of all associated records.\n\nEnsure calibration of Laboratory and Site Equipment in accordance with planned schedules and maintenance and storage of adequate stocks of laboratory consumables. Laboratory housekeeping.\n\nCreation and issuing of depot generated Certificates of Analysis in a timely manner.\n\nSupplier liaison on quality issues.\n\nUndertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate Line Managers related to the effective and efficient performance of the job and within the job holder’s skills and ability.\n\nNon-conformance and complaint investigations.\n\nAuthorising new site-specific general chemicals via site risk assessment including storage requirements.\n\nControl of quality procedures, oversight of document control, implementation of training plan and activities.\n\nFinal sign off and oversight outsourced activity under customer verification.\n\nOversight of internal audits for BRC, VDA & ISO.\n\nYour skills & experience\nLevel 3 HACCP for Manufacturing\n\nCertified Internal Auditor\n\nCertified First Aider\n\nHealth & Safety Qualification desirable.\n\nExperience in Chemical Storage and Distribution and Laboratory analysis methods, techniques, and GLP.\n\nBrenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
