The role also plays a key part in maintaining high levels of customer service, ensuring that all operations align with the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\nAs the Site Manager, it will be your responsibility to:\nOversee daily yard and warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.\n\nManage transport logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.\n\nMaintain and enforce site health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\n\nMonitor chemical throughput, ensuring safe handling, storage, and processing of materials.\n\nWork closely with internal teams to plan for future operational needs, including any increases in chemical throughput or warehouse capacity.\n\nLead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring all team members are trained in and adhere to safety and efficiency protocols.\n\nCollaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to maintain high service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.\n\nEnsure all operations are carried out in line with the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\n\nYour skills & experience:\nProven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in a chemical handling or hazardous materials environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, particularly in relation to chemical storage and transportation.\n\nExcellent leadership and team management skills.\n\nStrong organisational and problem-solving abilities.\n\nAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.\n\nExperience with transport logistics and managing high-volume throughput.\n\nBrenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
