There are no direct reports to this position.\nKey Accountabilities:\nPerforms role in a manner that is reflective of Brenntag’s Core Values, within regulatory requirements and company policies, programs and expectations and SOP;\nEnsures a safe work environment at all times, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to Site Management;\nExecutes the fulfillment of customers’ orders and requirements through the processes of Picking, wrapping, staging, and shipment of goods, packaged.\nInspects, loads and unloads packaged products in a safe, efficient manner and confirms all appropriate regulatory documentation is in order; performs product verification where required;\nUse a RF Scanner to accurately track, locate and verify products during receiving, picking, packing and shipping processes.\nInspects and verifies the satisfactory performance of all equipment and tools used in this area of operations, recommends changes where necessary, and actively participates in keeping the work area clean, organized and functional;\nCompetent on both Reach truck and Counterbalance truck\nSupports and follows Brenntag’s ‘Job 7’ product shipment best practices initiatives;\nCompletes other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager/Site Supervisor/ Operations Manager.\nWork Environment\nThis position requires the candidate to lift up to 25kg, stand for extended periods of time.\nSkills and Abilities Required\nKnowledge and/or training in TDG, WHMIS, Emergency Response, Forklift License\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ERP systems would be considered an asset\nCommitment to safety and past Joint Health & Safety Committee experience is considered an asset\nEducation and Experience\nSecondary School Diploma\nPrevious experience in an industrial or shipping & receiving environment (1-2 years)\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are requires of the employee for this job.
