Senior Software Engineer - PRO

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer who combines strong backend expertise in Go (Golang) with good React.js capabilities and, most importantly, a product-builder mindset.

This is a high-impact role for an engineer who goes beyond simply implementing requirements. You will identify problems, understand customer needs, shape solutions, and own outcomes end-to-end from technical design and implementation to rollout and iteration.

While this is a full-stack position, the primary focus will be on building and evolving our high-throughput Go microservices ecosystem, powering millions of critical daily interactions, while contributing to intuitive React experiences where needed.

We are looking for someone who thinks like a builder and acts like an owner, proactively identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, making pragmatic decisions, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into simple, scalable solutions.

Your impact at Brevo:

• Own complex product initiatives end-to-end, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution to building, launching, and iterating on it across Go backend services and React interfaces.
• Drive technical and product decisions for scalable, reliable systems, proactively identifying bottlenecks, simplifying complexity, and solving problems before they become blockers.
• Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design, code reviews, pragmatic technical decisions, and continuous reduction of technical debt.
• Act as a technical multiplier for the team, sharing context, mentoring engineers, and helping others make better technical and product decisions.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and other engineers to turn ambiguous customer and business problems into simple, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Embrace AI as a product-building tool, with hands-on exposure to AI/LLM capabilities and a curiosity to explore how AI can improve developer productivity, product experiences, and customer outcomes.

Who You Are:

• 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering high-impact, production-grade applications at scale.
• Strong, hands-on proficiency in Go (Golang), paired with deep expertise in microservices design, concurrency, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Comfortable with leveraging Agentic AI tools (such as AI coding agents, autonomous developer assistants, and LLM toolchains) as true force multipliers in your daily workflow.
• Solid practical experience building modern, responsive frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript to deliver seamless full-stack user experiences.
• Applied experience with high-volume databases (MongoDB, MySQL), message brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ), and caching strategies (Redis).
• Strong grasp of algorithms, full-stack system design patterns, and debugging complex production environments (Datadog, Kibana, New Relic).
• Self-driven and autonomous; you bring a proactive problem-solving attitude to complex technical problems and inspire excellence in those around you.
