Additionally, we are looking for individuals who can be agile, think outside the box and lead with an entrepreneurial spirit.\nResponsibilities:\nManage ingestion pipeline and validate data integrity for external data sources from a variety of client systems and processes.\nInvestigate and troubleshoot data integrity concerns and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.\nDemonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools and analytical methods to evolve data ingestion and validation procedures.\nPerform ad-hoc data investigations to support client needs.\nBroad-based data support across business units, products, and services.\nParticipate in a team environment and prioritize assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.\nGain subject matter expertise in, and understand the organizational impact of, the data for which the employee is responsible.\nDocument relevant observations and protocols related to data ingestion.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent, and an undergraduate level understanding of business, accounting, statistics, and data analysis.\nStrong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in SQL.\n2+ years SQL experience with a focus in data engineering or data analytics.\nAn interest in growing these skills and training others is required.\nDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.\nCommitment to producing high-quality analysis and attention to detail.\nDesire to work within a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in Python, particularly for automation tasks.\nBackground in building monitoring and alerting for data pipeline health.\nWorking knowledge of cloud storage/compute platforms (Azure or AWS).\nComfortable with version control (e.g., git) and CI/CD workflows.\nExposure to healthcare data standards or EDI transaction formats (e.g., 844/867).\nHybrid role out of our Washington DC office.\nCandidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship.\nSalary range: $90,000 - $120,000\nAbout BRG\nBRG combines world-leading academic credentials with world-tested business expertise and purpose-built emerging technologies.
