This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable Microsoft Teams Phone services, telephony systems, and company-provided mobile devices while supporting business operations and enhancing the end-user experience across the organization.\nExpectations for the Role\nAdminister and manage Microsoft Teams Phone users, phone numbers, calling policies, Direct Routing environments, SIP trunk connections, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).\nProvision, configure, and maintain company-issued mobile devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and security standards.\nPerform routine maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of the Teams voice ecosystem and supporting voice network infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot and resolve voice, telephony, and mobile device issues while serving as an escalation point for complex technical incidents.\nPartner with Systems Engineers, Network Administrators, Service Desk teams, and business stakeholders to address voice and mobility-related challenges.\nMonitor system performance, outages, and service events, implementing corrective actions to maintain uptime and service reliability.\nConfigure and optimize call routing, dialing plans, telephony integrations, and multi-vendor voice solutions.\nSupport onboarding efforts by provisioning voice services, phone numbers, device configurations, and telephony resources for new employees and locations.\nCreate and maintain documentation, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials for technical teams and end users.\nDrive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and service delivery.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and provide support during evenings, weekends, and maintenance windows as needed.\nEnsure voice and mobile environments align with security, compliance, and organizational requirements.\nWhat You Should Bring\nBachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.\n3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams Phone, voice engineering, telecommunications, or VoIP environments.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).\nExperience supporting Apple iOS devices, mobile device management, and device compliance programs.\nSolid understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, call routing, and telephony infrastructure.\nWorking knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, and subnetting.\nExperience utilizing ticketing and service management platforms such as ServiceNow.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nCustomer-focused mindset with experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.\nWhat You Will Be Part Of\nA technology team committed to delivering reliable communication and mobility solutions that enable business success.
