The primary goal is migrating functionality out of a legacy Java and C#/.NET ecosystem into a modern REST and GraphQL architecture. The role is backend-heavy, with Go as the core language, plus React on the frontend and GraphQL integration. Experience with Java and with reading legacy code to extract business logic is highly valued. The position requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, microservices, AWS, automated testing, and the ability to work independently\nOwn complex full-stack initiatives while mentoring engineers and helping shape technical direction. Senior Engineers are expected to engineer solutions, challenge assumptions, and drive technical excellence.\nThe project involves building a next-generation servicing tool and platform. A primary objective of this team is migrating existing functionality out of a legacy application ecosystem into a modern REST and GraphQL architecture.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDesign and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions.\nParticipate in architectural design and technical decision-making.\nDevelop APIs and complex integrations.\nOwn production quality, Databases\nAutomated testing\n\nPreferred Skills:\nC# / .NET: Ability to read, navigate, and analyze legacy C# application code for migration purposes\nJava: Experience reviewing legacy Java backend systems to extract business logic during migration\nData Integration: Experience working with REST-based data streams and integrations\nExperience working with globally distributed engineering
