As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, enabling us to leverage our data effectively for business insights. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organization and contribute to building a robust data platform from the ground up.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines using MS Fabric\n\nImplement transformations using notebooks (Python, pyspark, sql)\n\nExperience with medallion data architecture\n\nExperience building a data lakehouse (data lake + delta tables)\n\nWork with various data sources, including CSVs, APIs, and automated activities\n\nImplement ETL processes from OneDrive to bronze, silver, and gold layers using Delta tables\n\nPersist the gold layer data to a SQL endpoint for Power BI users\n\nAssist in data architecture and design decisions\n\nImplement auditing and error handling mechanisms in data pipelines\n\nCollaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues\n\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure code quality\n\nSupport the testing phase and help resolve tickets\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and improvements\n\nWorkplace: LATAM\nTechnical Environment: Microsoft Stack, Fabric Notebooks, Delta Tables, SQL Endpoints, Power BI, OneDrive, CSVs, APIs\nMust Have Skills:\nStrong knowledge of the Microsoft stack\n\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric\n\nExperience with SQL\n\nFamiliarity with Python\n\nUnderstanding of ETL processes\n\nExperience with data warehousing concepts\n\nAbility to work with various data formats such as CSVs and APIs\n\nBasic understanding of Power BI\n\nAbility to work hands-on and solve problems independently\n\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with Delta tables\n\nUnderstanding of data partitioning\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps or GitHub\n\nPrevious experience working with data volumes in the range of gigabytes to terabytes\nProfessional Skills:\nStrong English communication skills\nStrong team collaboration skills\nMaintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature\nHigh standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results\nSelf-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention\nDemonstrate
