To verify accuracy of accounts by performing the following duties.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nResponsible for Account Current, Bordereaux, and/or Item Basis reports and reconciliation.\n\nResponsible for Account Current, Bordereaux, and/or Item Basis Carrier payables.\n\nAssistswith premium corrections and day-to-day accounting issues with underwriting teams.\n\nAssistswith reconciling and clearing Surplus Lines Tax payments for various states.\n\nCorresponds with carriers regardingbalances & works with Carriers and/or underwriting teams to resolve issues and reconcile discrepancies.\n\nCorresponds with carriers to ensure return premium funds are collected timelyand recorded appropriately.\n\nResponsible for reviewing and resolving outstanding checks aged 90 daysor greater.\n\nCross-trained inaccounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other absences.\n\nSkills & Experience to Be Successful:\nRequired\nMinimum education or prior job experience - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one - three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nProficient with MS Office\n\nExceptional telephone demeanor\n\nAbility to maintaina high levelof confidentiality.\n\nAbout Us:\nBridge Specialty Group creates a seamless way to connect the varying needs of our retail partners with the market cloutand talents of our wholesale entities.
