Collaborate with carriers and underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nResponsible for Account Current and/or Item Basis reports and reconciliation.\n\nResponsible for Account Current and/or Item Basis Carrier payables.\n\nAssists with premium corrections and day-to-day accounting issues with underwriting teams.\n\nCorrespond with carriers regarding balances & works with Carriers and/or underwriting teams to resolve issues and reconcile discrepancies.\n\nCorrespond with carriers to ensure return premium funds are collected timely and recorded appropriately.\n\nReview, verify and process vendor invoices.\n\nResponsible for reviewing and resolving outstanding checks aged 90 days or greater.\n\nAssists with Direct bill commission payables to agencies.\n\nCross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other absences\n\nSkills & Experience to be Successful:\nSchool Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one - three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nProficient with MS Office.\n\nExceptional telephone demeanor.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality.\n\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business (preferred)\n\nInsurance experience (preferred)\n\nPay Range\n$27.00 - $30.00 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.\nTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being\nWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:\nHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance \nFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement \nMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services\nBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. \nNot reflective of all benefits.
