This role is offered at two levels, MSL and Senior MSL, with placement determined by depth of experience and demonstrated performance. Responsibilities are shared across both levels.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical care sites, and key stakeholders within the assigned territory\nBecome an expert in the therapeutic area, identify educational gaps in the community, and stay current on developments through literature review and medical congress participation\nServe as the primary and credible source of balanced medical and scientific information for healthcare providers in the geography\nCompliantly educate and engage in scientific exchange, deliver medical presentations, gather insights, and respond to healthcare provider requests for information\nDevelop and implement a territory-specific medical plan, and contribute to the strategic development of territory plans aligned with overall medical affairs strategy and evidence generation needs\nLead cross-functional collaborations within the assigned therapeutic area and serve as a key advisor to internal stakeholders, aligning field insights to medical strategy\nLead the strategic planning, execution, and post-congress analysis of scientific congresses, delivering executive-level summaries that translate key findings into actionable insights\nContribute proactively to the development of scientific and medical content, including slide decks, FAQs, training materials, and other field-facing collateral, and participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and project workstreams\nCollaborate with clinical development on research initiatives, including investigator identification, site identification, and investigator-sponsored trial processes\nMentor and support peer MSLs, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development\nRepresent BridgeBio at major scientific conferences and external forums, enhancing company visibility and impact\nWhere You'll Work\nThis role reports to the Area MSL Director, East. It is a U.S.-based, field-based remote position requiring 50-75% travel (averaging three days per week), including evenings, weekends, and quarterly visits to our San Francisco office. Travel will vary based on territory size and business needs.\nWho You Are\nPharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced healthcare degree; candidates with other degrees and relevant experience will be considered\nMSL: minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical patient care role, medical affairs, or field medical role, with a verifiable record of high performance\nSenior MSL: 4 + years of medical affairs or field medical experience, with a verifiable record of high performance\nStrong interpersonal communication, presentation, and networking skills\nAbility to engage in scientific dialogue and present complex information clearly and concisely\nExceptional teaching and scientific communication skills, and strong relationship-building skills with industry and academic thought leaders\nUnderstanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical product development processes\nProven ability to collaborate across functions and adapt to a dynamic environment\nProven leadership capability in project teams, including MSLs and cross-functional groups\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for territory and therapeutic area outcomes\nPrior experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology preferred\nAt BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California.
