We believe in rewarding hard work and supporting your future.\nWe take care of our people-because we know they’re the heart of everything we do.\nWhat You'll Do: \nOversee and participate in the preparation and review of all federal and state income tax returns.\nReview tax returns completed by tax accountants and provide feedback and guidance.\nOversee workload distribution, deadlines, and accuracy of deliverables.\nConduct tax research and prepare tax research memos on complex issues.\nDevelop structured training programs and materials on complex tax issues.\nRepresent tax issues with outside departments of revenue by being a Power of Attorney. \nEvaluate tax software effectiveness and internal control procedures; identify and implement process improvements and ensure all filing deadlines and compliance requirements are met.\nSupport IRS and state audit responses by gathering documentation and drafting correspondence.\nAssist with the processing of estimated federal and state tax payments as assigned. \nParticipate in departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned.\nSupervise tax accountants.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and support to the tax accounting team.\nMust maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nRequired Education, Experience and/or Abilities\nA bachelor's degree in accounting and six (6) or more years of tax experience with three (3) or more years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. \nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license. \nAdvanced proficiency in accounting and tax law knowledge.\nSupervisory and leadership experience.\nAbility to prepare, review, and train others on all tax returns. \nAbility to make independent decisions regarding work projects and tax issues.
