We have a large diverse team of talented Safe & Happy People, combining their strengths and ambition to bring innovation and evolution which ensures Sustainability for all stakeholders.\nAcross our key sectors - Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates- and supported through our regional office network supported by our manufacturing hub located in the heart of Somerset, which forms part of our 60,000ft head office complex - we deliver diverse and interesting projects and programmes throughout UK infrastructure.\nOur projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.\nThe Role\nThis is a Full time opportunity working Monday - Friday, 40hrs a week\nWe offer Hybrid working you would be willing to regularly report to either our Maidstone or Midsomer Norton offices, with an expectation for site and client visits as part of this role.\nVisit sites to undertake tender surveys\nLiase with Clients, Suplliers, and the project delivery team to develop suitable solutions\nProduce accurate quotations including: \nProduction of GA Drawings\nIdentification of risk\nAlternative design proposals and value engineering options\nAssess contract terms and conditions and identify areas of concern to the commercial team. \nProvide detailed handovers to the project delivery team.\nRequirements\nEssential\nExperience in an Engineering/manufacturung/fabrication/production sector\nExperience of working from Client specifications\nFull UK Driving Licence\nMethodical with keen attention to detail\nAbility to work to tight deadlines\nStrong IT Skills with experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD\nDesirable\nExperience within the water industry\nBenefits\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR BRIDGES\nRoSPA Gold Medal winner, Bridges - is an excellent company to work for and a great place to develop your career.
