You will lead and develop a local HR team while advancing talent, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence.\nThis position requires a strategic HR leader who is equally comfortable advising senior stakeholders, managing complex employee matters, and ensuring effective execution of core HR programs and processes.\nResponsibilities\nStrategic HR Partnership\nServe as the primary HR partner to Shared Services leaders, translating business priorities into practical people and organizational strategies.\nAdvise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent development, and change management.\nBuild trusted partnerships with local, regional, and global stakeholders in a multinational, matrixed environment.\nCollaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and other partner functions to deliver integrated HR solutions.\nTalent and Organizational Effectiveness\nLead key talent processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, workforce planning, employee engagement and Talent Management.\nCoach leaders on building organizational capability, strengthening team performance, and creating a culture of accountability and inclusion.\nIdentify staffing and capability needs and partner with leaders and Talent Acquisition to attract, select, develop, and retain talent.\nSupport organizational transformation, restructuring, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nFacilitate leadership, talent, and organizational development programs as needed.\nEmployee Relations and Compliance\nProvide trusted counsel on complex employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, performance issues, and policy interpretation.\nEnsure HR practices comply with Costa Rican labor legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies.\nPromote a respectful and inclusive work environment and support the appropriate resolution of concerns involving discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment.\nEnsure HR policies, processes, and decisions are consistently applied, appropriately documented, and audit ready.\nHR Operations and Insights\nOversee the delivery and communication of HR programs, policies, compensation practices, benefits, mobility, and other employment processes.\nWorkday HR Manager/ HRBP process transactions.\nSupport hiring, employment changes, and separation processes in accordance with applicable requirements.\nMaintain accurate workforce and headcount information to support planning, reporting, and business decisions.\nUse people data, HR metrics, and business insights to identify trends, manage risk, and recommend practical actions.\nProvide leadership and oversight for HR audits, internal controls, service standards, and core HR performance indicators.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals.\nEstablish clear expectations, priorities, accountability, and service standards.\nBuild team capability and promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong customer-service mindset.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.\nAt least eight years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in HR leadership or HR Business Partner or role.\nExperience leading employees or managing core HR functions.\nStrong knowledge of Costa Rican employment laws, labor practices, and regulatory requirements.\nDemonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns with sound judgment and discretion.\nExperience supporting leaders in a multinational, matrixed organization.\nStrong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into practical people solutions.\nExperience supporting talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee retention.\nAbility to analyze workforce data and translate insights into recommendations and action.\nFull professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.\nStrong leadership, coaching, communication, conflict-resolution, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.\nProfessional HR certification.\nExperience in shared services, global business services, or similarly complex operating environment.\nExperience supporting employees and stakeholders across different countries, functions, and reporting structures.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional projects, organizational change, or transformation initiatives.\nExperience with organizational design, process improvement, or HR service-delivery models.\nStrong presentation, facilitation, and change-management
